In ruling date of April 20, 2016 (ordinary court, role N ° 13.478-2012, 24 th Civil Court of Santiago), the Supreme Court condemned unanimously to real estate and construction of a building in Ñuñoa, to pay compensation to the owner community for the sum of $252.910.449, due to construction defects. This ruling confirms the responsibility of enterprises by deficiencies in the construction of buildings, and the responsibility of the owner first seller, called to satisfy all damages arising from faults or defects in the building, describing the ruling as “integral responsibility”.
